OTTAWA ARTS COURT FOUNDATION
The Ottawa Arts Court Foundation plays a leadership role in developing the performing, visual, literary and media arts in our community.
Since 1988, the Ottawa Arts Court has occupied the City of
Ottawa
owned heritage building known as Arts Court. The mission of the Ottawa Arts Court Foundation is to provide a forum for
Ottawa
’s performing, visual, literary, and media arts through the provision of leading professional facilities, programs and services.
As a registered charitable organization, the Ottawa Arts Court Foundation (OACF), in partnership with the City of
Ottawa
, is responsible for the development, monitoring and evaluation of a comprehensive rental police for the 87,000 square foot Arts Court facility, including standards for the levels of service and the setting of rental rates.
The OACF promotes and nurtures the creative integrity of the Arts Court by working with Arts Court ’s individual tenant organizations and external organizations towards the continuing development of the local professional arts community and its audiences.
In addition the OACF is responsible for fundraising for ongoing operation and capital improvements, the promotion of Arts Court and the long-term development vision of Arts Court and its adjacent lands.
The Ottawa Arts Court Foundation invites you to participate by volunteering, becoming a member, or just taking advantage of our great facilities. Whether you're an artist, a patron, or just exploring your creative side, there are many opportunities for you to get involved!
